About

Hi! I'm Gürkan, a game designer. I work across level design, systems and narrative, and the part I care about most is where a rule written on paper turns into something a player can actually feel.

Most of my work happens in Unity with C#. I block out levels, prototype mechanics, and write the documentation that keeps a team pointed the same way, then playtest until the numbers and the feeling agree with each other.

Outside of project work I take games apart to see how they hold together: why an encounter is paced the way it is, what a system is really rewarding, where a story beat is doing quiet work. Most of it finds its way back into a design sooner or later.
